The Cascadia project is vast. It is the largest Master Planned Community conceived for the Puget Sound Basin to date. Infrastructure improvements include design and construction of a sewage treatment plant discharging to the Carbon River and new taps to the City of Tacoma Water pipeline from the Howard Hansen Dam. While still in the early stages of development, years of entitlement work and negotiations with Pierce County, the Cities of Orting and Tacoma, and the Utilities are paving the way for the ultimate success of the project.
